Digging & Rigging relocates the Lewes Swing Bridge

Early efforts to relocate the Lewes Swing Bridge, in Lewes, Delaware, to its new home off of American Legion Road were halted by weight and capacity issues. As Digging & Rigging has one of the largest cranes on the East Coast, we were contracted to lift the bridge from the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal with our Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1.

Presenting the Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1

Digging & Rigging has added the new Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 to its fleet!  The model was first unveiled at the CONEXPO 2020 in Las Vegas.  This extremely powerful mobile crane boasts the longest boom in its class with it’s incredible high-lifting capacities when fully raised.  As pictured, this crane is ideal for projects where access and space is limited.  On its maiden voyage, the LTM 1120 was recently used to dismantle a rooftop shelter atop the International Square building in northwest Washington DC.  Utilizing a max radius of 100’ and 3,000 lb. capacity, this 135 ton crane made seamless work of the project.

Introducing the LTM 1070-4.2

Digging & Rigging would like to introduce the latest addition to our fleet, the versatile Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2!  This 80 ton, 4-axle crane’s features make it ready for a variety of terrains and activities.  The LTM 1070-4.2 possesses 164’ of main boom and a mechanical/hydraulic swing away jib gives it an additional reach of 52’.  This crane also boasts crab steering that allows it to maneuver into tight spaces and enables D&R to perform lifts for a wide variety of applications.  Combined with its reach capabilities, our new Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 is an ideal piece of equipment for telecommunications work or lifting roofing materials in a tight city environment.
