Employees begin employment with rigger, operator, and signalman training regulated by qualified OSHA trainers. Our employees attend OSHA 30-Hour Training in Construction Safety and Health. Every crane operator also possesses a current NCCCO license.
Digging & Rigging, Inc. strives to maintain a completely safe work environment. All employees are equipped with standard safety gear in addition to Job Safety Analysis documents to assess the safety and security of every job site. Our highly experienced safety managers, along with our director are always available to ensure all safety precautions and protocol are being met throughout every job.
Donnie is an experienced safety professional, construction trainer, and public safety advocate with expertise in construction safety, occupational health, radiation/health physics, rigging, and emergency response. He is an OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer and holds Associate of Applied Science degrees from Texas State Technical College in Radiation/Health Physics and Safety Compliance. He is also an ASME Rigging Trainer Development Course graduate through Crosby and an Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor. Donnie’s career includes serving as a Safety Coordinator for Precise Hard Chrome in Waco, Texas, Safety Manager for residential and government construction, and Safety Manager overseeing digging and rigging operations, before transitioning to Safety Director. He served seven years in the U.S. Marine Corps, including three years as a Safety Non-Commissioned Officer, and spent seven years as a volunteer firefighter. Donnie combines education, hands-on experience, military leadership, emergency response, and safety training to help organizations build safer workplaces through practical knowledge, effective training, and a strong culture of safety. Breia is a safety professional with experience in construction safety, occupational health, and environmental safety. Her background includes supporting electrical construction as well as crane, rigging, and heavy hauling operations, where she works closely with employees and leadership to promote safe work practices and reduce operational risk. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and Safety and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management. Breia has also has certifications in Fundamentals of Workplace Safety, Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP), and Associate Safety and Health Manager (ASHM), completed OSHA 30-Hour Construction, and NFPA 70E. Breia’s career has included serving in both Safety Coordinator and Safety Manager roles, with responsibilities including jobsite inspections, employee training, incident and claims follow-up, fall protection, hazard assessments, and implementation of company safety programs. Breia combines her education, field experience, and continued professional development to support safer workplaces through practical training, employee engagement, hazard recognition, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement in safety.
